A version of the saying was attributed to Einstein by Barnett, but the words were not placed between quotation marks.

The actual statement:

In other words, Einstein has never uttered the words "Common Sense Is Nothing More Than a Deposit of Prejudices Laid Down in the Mind Before Age Eighteen". That is Barnett's interpretation of Einstein's meaning.

That is a significant difference... one that is, quite honestly, readily apparent to anyone reading without bias.

Yes he did utter the words. That's what Barnett says Einstein pointed out. You can't point out something like that without uttering the words. It's what Einstein is witnessed to have said. So yes he did say it. And Barnett is the witness to it.

You are being dishonest, as usual. The lack of quotes means it is NOT a quote, ergo it is NOT the words Einstein said. Hence why he said, AS EINSTEIN POINTED OUT. No quotes. Not, "In Einstein's words". In other words, this was barnett's understanding of what Einstein was talking about.

Given your continued dishonesty though, and the obvious fact that you cannot argue rationally or factually... consider this an official warning - if you are going to claim this quote as being Einsteins, then prove he actually said it. Otherwise, per the Supreme Court case of Masson v. New Yorker Magazine, you are committing misattribution and defamation.

I'm sure you will attempt to prove this via your usual misrepresentation... or perhaps simply ignore it altogether. Just know - neither is an acceptable option.

Do note - you are, with this defamation, insulting one of the great minds of science... a crime that few members here take kindly to, and one that attacks the very basis upon which this forum was founded.

Barnett's claim that that was what was pointed out to him by Einstein. So obviously he said it. That's the proof. Oh, and you know what you can do with your threats troll. Like I said, when you have no argument, you make up rules to infract. You disgust me. Back to my ignore list.

Nope, that is not proof that those are Einstein's words - that is evidence that Barnett interpreted that as what Einstein meant. Then again, given that you consider that proof... it explains a lot about why you constantly cry that you are being "unfairly targeted" when proof is demanded... I would say try again... but, we both know you will just repeat the same tired bullshit... after all, you have a several weeks old question still waiting for answers.

Troll technique number 3: drag in other issues from other threads, as if putting someone on trial. Dredge up a whole past history justifying them calling you names and disparaging you as a valued member here.
