That is certainly one way and a good way. Music being the obvious one, imagine a world without the Beatles?(actually there is a film about that)
Imagine a world without Bach? Mozart? Jazz? ABBA?

Art, Literature, Architecture I will leave to our more cultured posters.
I will say a word about Science and Mathematics.
Working out how the Universe works and developing tools in that endeavour, have required unparalleled creativity by our most gifted modern apes.

Моцарт и Бах - это красиво. Битлз - можно кое что послушать. Без джаза мир был бы только лучше.

I play drums so Jazz was a must when I was learning, my teacher was a jazz drummer.

Yes I could have missed it. It is those decisions you have to make as a youngster. My careers officer said I did not have to go University if I did not want to. My mother said I should after discussion with my teachers. My best friend said I should go to University then we could hang out as students!

I play for pleasure, guitar and piano. Drums is different because I learnt formally and treat it more serious.
I play in tribute bands so I practice, I have to.
