Yes, life definitely has meaning and purpose. :)
And pardon the wetness, it's a bye product, but the truth even here must be told. Or must be known to those with there ears plugged. ;)

It really would be quite depressing to go around thinking that ye had no purpose, even in reality it's self, shows we and the animal kingdom has purpose in life. :) Everything good or evil has purpose!

Believe that there is purpose & meaning to all life, Earth, universe, and beyond, and just enjoy life and be happy! :)

The Greens, being far wiser than us, and having chosen to remain sedentary, stationary, and meditative, complete unto themselves, realized there are downsides to their chosen path ... and created other forms of life to fertilize the soil and assist in propagation.

That is our purpose!

The same purpose as the rest of the non-Green life on this planet!

Now go to sleep and dream of pissing on Porfiry's servers.

Yes.., but we have a far greater purpose and meaning to our life's then to just fertilize the ground! :D

Chauger, we humans do have already a far higher purpose and meaning to life, then to fertilize the plant kingdom with our selves! :D
We humans need purpose and meaning, so enjoy life with meaning and purpose, it's the way to go. :)
 
Well yeah, like being 'fruitful' and multiplying to make sure the Greenies have what they need.. Which I've already done, thank you. My way of thanking them for setting up the base for the food chain that I pretty much sit on top of.
 
If you're not fruitful and don't multiply, there's always fertlizer to be had. In quite some quanity if McVie (?) is to be believed.

And it makes far far better since then what I have read here a few days ago, which was and would be grossly depressing to say , life serves no purpose and have no meaning, not acceptable sayings to the one that has a greater knowledge then the unregenerate peoples. :rolleyes:

It's better to know even you have purpose in life, and meaning to your existence!:)

Ye 'free moral agents' could not really function well, if at all, with out having some since of purpose in life, and meaning in life!
You humans are not animals, you are much higher order then that! Aah......, I am human to!:D But I and others had come to know the truth, and nothing but the truth rules our thoughts in light of having purpose and meaning in life! So there's no getting upset because ye think ye is a monkey's uncle, or killing someone to relieve stress. Because ye have not, or don't know [or want to know] the meaning and purpose of life, even when it is slapping ye in the face . :D

Have meaning and purpose to your existence!

So we all have meaning and purpose in life, because of what we are, good or evil, all to the glory of our creator!

In Bhuddism it is taught that you shouldn't believe anything until you experience it for yourself. That's not asking too much.

I could tell you on the Christian Forum, better there because of the DEEP Faith issue. :)
Will post in a day or two, have to study the Holy Word.

Life really doe's have purpose and meaning! A 'high' purpose for the Human-race! :D
 
I find it interesting that such an argument can arise simply from merely 2 words that occurred in terra2's sentence. They weren't even particularly significant words in the sentence in my opinion.
However, the whole thing makes me wonder why people are so quick to jump to sides of the argument at all. Especially when simply mentioning the words "life purpose" begs the question...
i.e. : taking a side here automatically agrees to a teleological view of life.
I think that would be the better discussion.
Ah well..
