keep in mind when your dealing with large populations in both modern 1st world and agrarian 3rd world
you get disaster tourists in both
those who go toward tsunamis & land slides
some of the videos you can see people laughing at the landslide as it kills people.

note additionally only recently despite government attempts in the previous USA administration to shut them down
now developing are satellites that can scan these things

but land is huge money and equally land boundary and ownership issues
connects to government core housing policy

proper satellite use could scan these areas and rate their risks then move the citizens to new land given to them for free where they can have a new house built for them for free

which political groups would oppose that ?

so you can clearly see there is massive money invested in making sure these events cant be predicted
all for cash
but the science is right there waiting to be used & in some cases its in orbit being used for other things

quick note your original video land slip slow slide etc
northern European countrys including Russia will probably face this issue as land melts and causes water layers to be created under semi-flat areas where water may build up as permafrost melts
considerably damaging when matched with key buildings placed on flat areas
fuel tanks electrical systems supply buildings etc
having a few hectares move side sways several meters while looking magical
would cut and destroy critical infrastructure which may have a vast area of critical reliance on in more wider land areas specifically colder climate zones

remember the usa government and republican party and its leaders have been spending tens of millions of dollars to claim climate change is fake.
