The cold war arms race isn't over. Something needed to be done about Western dominance of the internet, and the propaganda machine of the former Soviet republic needs something to keep former KGB agents busy, so there you are.
If you think disinformation is a simple annoyance, think harder. They are very accomplished. The example that made the front page of the Washington Post this morning is only one example of how your online social life can cost you much more than you think. Recruiting young people who don't know any better to fight wars that are not theirs is only the beginning, and I doubt we have seen the worst of this trend yet.
