Hello--I "accidentally" stumbled on to this website. I'm a regular poster up on the Kathleen Keating Discussion Forum, and I'm trying to expand my horizons a little (it's a Catholic-centric end times/psuedo current affair discussion area). I'm just here to check out the scene...I'm not sure how much I'll talk but I'm excited to look around.
I am in the 911 industry (that is 911, not 9-11), working as a supervisor for a major metropolitan fire department's command center where we dispatch from. Been in the business for about 15 years altogether. Avid fan of Star Trek and Star Wars. And I run a consulting business (which is going to sound strange) where I design field shows for competitive high school marching bands across the country. If any of you are old marching band and/or drum and bugle corps members, I'm VERY active in those activities.
Oh yeah...I'm LDS, but don't let that stand in the way of talking to me!
I swear I'm not the proselytizing type--unless of course you WANT me to be! HAAAAAAAA!! And don't bother, if you're inclined, to tell me how wrong I am to BE LDS, because I'm sort of immune to it all, and that would be just a big can to open up for no reason. Unless it's intelligent debate and disagreement, which of course we're all entitled to. Am I rambling? Where was I?
