Why it had to take 2000 years for the Jews to have their homeland ?
it hasn't. palestine is not the homeland of jews any more than it is the homeland of christians. religions do not have homelands. it was the homeland of the ancient hebrews but they haven't existed for thousands of years.
Ok the old Hebrew do not exist for 2000 years, What people lived there in 1930 and on...
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
and I hope you used the term Israel to refer to the state because refering to the area in general as Israel is anchronistic, ahistorical, and is generally used to erase the true history of the region
Why did it have to take 1000 years for the citizens of the United States to have their homeland? Probably for the same reason. The people already living there didn't want to leave.Why it had to take 2000 years for the Jews to have their homeland ?
Would you enlighten me with the true history of the region ..please
that the region and other native peoples than the ancient hebrews and that quite frankly the jews played a rather minor role in the history of the area.

The circumstances involving this region in the Middle East is that Jews and Muslims consider some land as sacred. Normally sacred land does not present any problems; however, both religions consider Jerusalem as their sacred land, specifically the same small location within Jerusalem called the Temple Mount (by Jews) and the Noble Sanctuary (by Muslims). In fact, Muslims lay claim to several sacred sites, including (in order of importance): #1 –Mecca, #2 –Medina, and #3 – Jerusalem.
This is unlike Christianity, especially modern Christianity, which does not ordinarily consider any land as sacred. So for example, American Indians generally consider their burial grounds as sacred, and don't want them disturbed. European Americans have few qualms about digging up cemeteries to build highways or to develop as real estate (not that they do it all the time, but occasionally).
noI asked you to give me some detail of what you know , but you are just waving hands , that does not help for discussion .

Benjamin of Tudela, in 1169 A.D., first suggested that the site where the Dome of the Rock stands was where the Temple stood.
Following 70 years of intensive excavations in the Land of Israel, archaeologists have found out: The patriarchs' acts are legendary, the Israelites did not sojourn in Egypt or make an exodus, they did not conquer the land. Neither is there any mention of the empire of David and Solomon, nor of the source of belief in the God of Israel. These facts have been known for years, but Israel is a stubborn people and nobody wants to hear about it

They got distracted by all the other places they lived in?
They were waiting for Stalin and Hitler.
Land ownership is a strange animal we invented. Actually Indians in North America did not invent this yet - only "Territory" or "range".
Basically It's not their home. If you go far enough back in time the Hebrews actually performed a Genocide (by their own Bible account and others) upon the indigenous population. Yeshwa makes Hitler look like a fucking saint.
Then they lost their "home land" numerous times to numerous empires and people, until they got removed from it(also the initial plan Hitler had for Jews in Europe - removal, with the occasional mass killing, until he started to lose the war).
Then Zionists managed to finally convince the west to "gift" them this land. Which they actually had to fight for. Basically the land is for whomever can hold it.
