The sugar was melting..........
It was if Pavman had realised this, as if this thought had occured to him as well, electricity flowing among the egg-white sugar particals in its head. He struck at castles randomly, then started walking towards the sea, as if to excape certian distruction.
A few steps into the ocean, and his feet had lost too much of their coating, and he began to fall into the watery abiss of death. I hooked my hammers into what was left of his coating, and hacked my way onto the highest point of him, but the pavolova bits were still slowly melting into the ocean. Already, the pavolova was almost too soft to walk onto.
I was stuck there, in the ocean, with no means of getting back to dry land. My only hope was a small boat, full of cases, a little way off. If the owner saw me before the disctruction of pavman was complete, my life would be spared. Or i'd have to swim.
Either way, it's wouldn't be pretty.
