I live in a city that is 30% black. I work with and enjoy the company of black people everyday.
My point is that , as a group, blacks are a net drain on society. That is not to say that every black person is but that as a group they are.
Where blacks run businesses the businesses they run are derivative providing services or retail trade and usually only succeed where politics and or minority 'set asides' make it impossible to fail, i.e. they do not have to compete with other business.
If someone could point me to a black run engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical or any other major enterprise listed on a major stock exchange I would appreciate it. I maintain they do not exist.
Remember there are almost 40 million blacks in the US. Yet tiny Ireland has more major enterprises operating in America than all of America's blacks have created which is none. The US has an Indian Hindu community of a million or so and they are of recent origin but they are wealthy and account for a large percentage of our IT and computer industry start up companies. In the UK the situatio is better. We are far less ghettoised than the USA..less gated communities and an altigther fairer systen..esp. re Health. To my mind the USA has a lot to learn...as spelt out in Michael Moores latest film.
This is the problem and I take no joy in pointing it out. Mobile phones, computers, biotech, IT are all new industries open to anyone smart enough to understand the technology and with the drive to found an enterprise yet blacks are totally absent from these fields except as non critical employees. I want to see
a black Larry Ellison ( Oracle) Gordon Moore ( Intel) Bill Gates ( Microsoft) or even some black entreprenuer building a Walmart
or Tesco. But I don't. Why?
