Advocating for the freedom to have an abortion is not encouraging people to commit murder. It is a right and power bestowed by Nature on the female as a survival strategy, believe it or not.
OTOH, driving an oil sucking car is encouraging people to commit murder and suicide, by the thousands from both primary and secondary causes.
Does it matter how a person dies? Is there a difference in moral responsibilities allowing any cause of death other than old age?
The rest of the developed world has "universal health care". The US doesn't.
No one cares who lives or dies as long as long life is a negotiable commodity.
IMO, people should clean their own back yard of dead people before they start complaining about other people's yards having dead people.

It was not an argument directed at you, but additional moral considerations when discussing the value of life and how little we respect it when it suits us.
Example: killing people in the name of God is an entirely negotiable choice. It has been for millenia.
