Is faith a reliable path to knowledge?

Can you describe your experience, was there visual and sound?
If so, could you see yourself away from your body and where were you?

Member here: Davewhite04 has said of his OBEs:

Was your experience as ‘exciting’ as DaveW’s?
I was actually completely in a different reality. Many were similar to teleporting to a far off land.

How do I tell number of post. Never mind I see it.

I wasn't confusing anything in this reality. I was actually somewhere else.

Was you aware of this “teleporting” or did you just become aware you were somewhere else?
So far, you have not described anything that couldn’t have been dreamt.
What was your body doing before this “teleporting”? Were you sleeping or something else?
DaveW’s seems to have been instantly 200ft above his car which he was driving at the time.

I was down the South coast of England, driving at night. With no warning or reason I can think of, I was 200 ft above my car watching myself drive.
I think enough people have seen arial footage of all kinds, from planes and drones, to be able to dream of flying over buildings and jungles and almost anything anywhere.

I once dreamt of seeing myself from above, I was on a large ice field in the Arctic, and was looking at a moving white pinprick in the distance and knowing it was a polar bear interested in me, its next meal.
I have put that down to watching too much David Attenborough and arial footage of difference landscapes.
My sleeping mind made that possible.

Aware of each in different experiences.
I know the difference between dreams and awake. These were not dreams.
Most awake. One between awakening and dreaming. Another beyond sleep and dreams.

Everybody's path through life is different. It's quite understandable that they will have different experiences and different explanations of similar experiences.
That seems to be the case with NDEs, there are some things most have in common, but they describe different experiences overall.

It is quite interesting that the content of NDEs can be different based on culture. When Westerners have NDEs they often report coming back because "it's not time yet," or they are "still needed on Earth." Reports by researchers Dr. Raymond Moody, Dr. Bruce Greyson, and anthropologist Dr. Satwant Pasricha have documented notable cultural differences, suggesting the when people in Indian cultures have NDEs, they more often report their early arrival in he afterlife as a bureaucratic error, like a case of mistaken identity, which was rectified by sending them back.

Interesting info, I have just read about Western experiences.

It makes sense.

You really need to experience an NDE or OBE to know exactly what the crack is regarding these experiences, they are all subjective, which is an obvious thing to say! I've read one similar to my first experience in 20 odd years of looking!
