There is no such thing as any "diameter" to the observable universe from its distant horizon in time to the observer on Earth! Observed strictly 1-dimensional time and light-time, geometrically 13.7-billion years, 13.7-billion light-years, and maybe longer geometrically in line from observed "there-then" to the observer on Earth's "here-now." In-line contraction from big-boy point "there-then" to equally big-boy point "here-now". No observed or observable diameter in that contraction big-boy point A to big-boy point B, and return expansion big-boy point B to big-boy point A. A strictly 2-way 1-dimensional string and street in time and light-time (space is NOT observable, NEVER observable, except as described by Einstein below)!!!!!
"It takes 'three dimensions' to describe a 'point'!" -- Albert Einstein. (The 'point' (0-point) the 'fourth dimension' of the 3-dimensionality (0-, 1-, 2-, 3-)).
