IMPORTANT: SciForums Update - Report All Issues Here

3. Last post

I thought that XenForo will use same structure for posts (but apparently that's not the case). Currently, when you click the thread title you'll open the last post. We'll figure out something.
Not for me, or maybe I don't know what you mean by "thread title". I thought maybe it was because I wasn't logged in (this is the first time with the new software) but clicking the thread title still takes me to the first post.

This particular little "glitch" is my second worst beef - (I realize I can just hit "End" - or a myriad of other key combos - but it's annoying)...

The worst for me is not being able to figure out how to get to the second and subsequent pages of "New Posts".

Good luck guys... :)

I like the new format. It still has an abundance of bugs. But much progress has been made. Kudos to Plazma and members who have assisted with this effort.

Hi Randwolf. Long time no see...
Anyway, stop trying to figure it out. At this point, it's impossible ;)

Agreed :)

I just figured out how to multi-quote.. duh! lol

I can't post more than 2 images at a time. After that I can't see any reply message to post any more.

Sorry , I meant that once I post one thing then try to post another thing on another reply, there's no reply so I can't post the 2nd thing I wanted to at that time. I must wait awhile before the reply comes back up for me to use it.

Has anyone found workaround for getting to any page other than page 1 of 'New Posts'??

It's been several days and I'm kind of tired of viewing only those top 20 threads.

Yes, my bad. When you're on the home page, you'll see the list of the latest posts, just click the title and that should do the trick.

When you're in Forum, you should click the date of the last post (on the right), or date on the left (for the first post).

That sounds like the software is trying to stop quick successive posts, duplicate posts and flooding. You'll probably find that the reply button is only missing as long as the Edit button exists, so if you can't post in succession, just edit your previous post.

Do we have a "report" feature, yet, for spam or posts that one wishes to bring to the attention of moderators without making a public issue of it?

Yes, however I'm not entirely sure that it's privileges have been set across the various user groups. The moderators have dabbled with it, but if the general populous doesn't have access to it then obviously making that known will help get it fixed.

You should be able to report content again.

LaTex is working:

Code:
[tex]f(x)=\lim_{n \to \infty}\left[\sum_{k=1}^n \left(\frac{1}{k^2}\right)\right]+x[/tex]

Gives:

$$f(x)=\lim_{n \to \infty}\left[\sum_{k=1}^n \left(\frac{1}{k^2}\right)\right]+x$$

Sometimes, you'll have to refresh the page or wait a bit in order to see it.

Also, annoying JS error has been solved as well.

Ok, well, I'm logged in and I see two black buttons on the lower right of each post, one for Like and one for Reply. I do not see any button or other icon on either right or left for "report". What does it look like?

alright!!
somebody is doing something back there.
the console error no longer appears over my name, inbox, or alerts.

still can't find the edit, and report buttons.

Awesome! MathJax is a nice solution.

I see the report button as well.

There is still the issue with the who's online pages, but it look like y'all are making progress!
