If I had a time machine, I'd first visit the year 3000. By then, I expect humans to be a more civilized species.

yes i think the future would be very interesting. i would be temped to go farther. asuming that the earth is still here at that time. maybe the year 5000 or something. I imagine things could be so differnt that i wouldn't recognise anything at all and would totally be a fish out of water. I can't even start to think about what could be going on in the year 5000, on earth or otherwise.

Let's see; Year 1981 - buy a million IBM stocks......then to year 1999 and sell the stocks...Money out the Ying yang.

Year 1985 - buy Million Microsoft stock then to year 1999 and sell the stock...money out the ying yang.

Year 1940 - Collect free baseball crads given out back then with cigarettes but then later stopped....collect atleast 100 or so....then to year 2050...sell them ...money out the ying yang

(right now those cards are valued at 500,000 dollares each so i am hoping the value will continue to climb)

Year 100,200,000,000 bc - Earth is still young...wait under the ocean to see the first life form develop in forms of primitive sponges...and then later i sit alone to watch the moon under a starry sky knowing i am the only thinking being on the planet whose financial future is very secure in the future to come.

I would go back in time five years and tell myself the following things:

Don't go to LTI.
Work at UPS.
And avoid Ashley at all costs.

Also, I would like to have sex with myself. I am sexy bitch.:)

Me too... i also consider myself a sexy bitch.....let's all do ourselves shall we....

I would also like to go back to meet Julius Ceaser and Hitler. Also if i still have time left and expensive nuclear fuel for the time machine then i would go back to my childhood and see myself as a neurotic, know it all kid......and go back to 3 months before my mom get married and stop the marraige.....:(

I'd go back to 5bc and see if the stories about Jesus are true or not. If so, I'd make sure to tell them to be more clear when writing the Bible. If not I'd go around and kill off the writers of the Bible.

I would go back to 1745 when the scottish army was only 100 miles from England but then turned back, not knowing that panic had gripped London, with the royals preparing to leave the country. I would go back and tell them England was there for the taking and it would be our last chance to throw off the english shackles.

I should have said 100 miles from London. No wonder we turned back, my ancestor was probably a navigator.

i would have personally gave details of the atom bomb to the german scientists. whatever you believe the world would have been a better place if the manhatten project did not achive it's goals.
so it would have to be either 1943 or 1944 for the german scientists to analyse the info and build the weapon.

Hehe not meaning to be a spoil sport or anything but theres so much i'd love to go back and see but i'd do my damdest not to interfere not even little things for my own financial gain as the littlest change can only really cause a cascade of change that may create all sorts of havok that you can never put back ^_^.
Haven't you seen sliders dang it?

hehe I'd like to go back to the various periods of religion to see the truth for myself i guess.
Also the first days of time to see it for myself, the world in its true form before we decided to mess it all up, to see the true clear sky and look at the stars as they were millions of years ago.

If i wanted to say to hell with the future i'm gonna go back and have a laugh ^_^, god the things i could bring back in time and screw peoples minds with lmfao.

If I had a time machine

I would probably go back to the year 1 BC. I would follow Jesus and eventually stand underneath the rolling clouds at Golgotha and watch the Romans crucify him. Then I would kneel down and grab a fistfull of powdery dirt and release it in a small stream to see in which direction the wind carried it. I would then tighten my cracked and weathered sandels before standing up in the approaching darkness of the full eclipse. And then I would walk away into the the desert and become a great prophet. A seer of great power who would guide the people of that time into a new era of hope and light. Or, I might just do the whole IBM stock thing.

I would go back to Anchient Greece. When a beautiful woman was treated the right way. A life of relaxation, casual sex, foot massages with oil. *Sigh* That'd be great.

i would go back for 2 reasons--

1. to see people
2. to see the world as it was.

in people i'd like to meet:-- Saladin the Magnificent, Che Guevara, Karl Marx, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, among a few.

who wouldn't want to see the world as it was.

1-Woodstock
2-Roman Empire days
3-See some Dino's
4-The 60's so I could fuck like a mad man and not worry about diseases, plus the drugs and rock and roll. Guess this one belongs with the #1 though...........
5-When I am back in the 60's buy some MacDonald's Stock....Yea....Thats the money fuck IBM DELL, get some MacD's back in the 60's, rich man today! BIG TIME!
6-The time period when the Sphinx and pyramids were built and see how they actually do it.
7-Easter Island back in the day to see why those head statues were made.
8-Assasinate my father before I was born(thats not considered suicide if I am right)

But even the littlest changes can alter the future in a big way. The real question is, if you made some changes, would you have ever have gotten the time machine? Would you ever have been able to go back and mack those changes?

I'd probably go back to 1938 Nazi Germany, to witness one of the Nuremberg rallies and hear Hitler (who, at that time, was probably the greatest man alive).

I'd go back in time with one of those Remote control metronomes and bury it under the spot where the white house and GWB's chair are right now and set it into hibernation.
Then right about the time he came into office i'd start it up for a few hours every few hours and slowly drive him insane, watch him flinch whenever he hears a ticking noise.

forward!!

i would go one or two hundred years in to the future so as to hopefully show myself that we will not always be such a dismally barbaric race of people and improvement if always possible.

I would like to visit Oak Island in Nova Scotia in a year 1700 and see who was the wise ass that buried something there(suposedly a treasure)
in a place thats known now as Money pit,as so much money people spent over 200 years of search for this elusive treasure, and havent found nothing yet,
and finaly solve this mystery.
see www.oakislandtreasure.co.uk/
