How Promiscuous Are You? Take The Test

Am I right about this calculation, you can get a score of 50 without actually having any sex at all?

I scored 184, and am quite surprised that I scored so high. Didn't think I was all that promiscuous.

184 I find that hard to believe. However if you were a porno star it would just be a job, and promiscuity wouldn't apply.

The flaws that we notice most easily in others are the ones we're most familiar with: because we live with them 24/7.
It's a nice saying, but not necessarily true; If you're aware of your own flaws then you may be more accepting of those in others as it's unfair to ask of them something which you cannot give in return, so you may prefer to look for other flaws, ones which are your biggest turn offs.

Why wouldn't it apply to porn stars? They still have lots of casual sex with multiple partners.

If I spent all day getting it up for the camera, the last thing I would want to do with a little time off is get it on. (but that's just my thinking) It might be different for women, because they don't have to worry about getting it up.

However I never met any porno stars, so I could be wrong about that. I just think most people don't want to get off work and then go do the same thing somewhere else or at home.

I rather expect that it would depend on the circumstances and the incentive, but you make an interesting point. From the physical perspective, sex is just work, an output of energy.

If there is a psychological incentive and reward, then perhaps it becomes a passion and not just a job....

But they're still having casual sex for their work. There's no relationship involved it's just sex, so surely their work itself involves promiscuity.

You could be right, I was just trying to figure out what type a person you would have to be to score 187 on the test and not think of yourself as promiscuous. I never did figure out if it was possible to score 187, but I'm thinking Mountian Man was doing his best to imitate a TROLL. :D

Mathematically possible but highly unlikely. Probably helps if you count one night stands with the same person as multiples, which I guess could make sense if there's significant time between them and you never intended it to happen again.

Really though, is it worth being proud of?

Now where have I heard this? If you love what you do, then you never work a day in your life. How does one get into the porno business as a star anyway? I don't suppose it's something that just sorta happens by accident?

I can't remember the numbers now, but it was based on about 10 partners in the last year, 10-15 one night stands, and agreeing with all the statements. I don't think it's that unusual.

At this point in your life, I'll concede that you are a player and as such a high scorer on the test, please accept my apology for the troll remark. ;)

Well...You're probably at the high end of the singles set...
And at this point it qualifies as a serious hobby there, mister...
My hat's off to ya.
You must not need to sleep that much.

It's hard to support a claim to a very fulfilling life, if you don't know what you've been missing.

It was a joke. Of course, other than not being a virgin, my actual life has been about as close to being the real version of the fictional character of that film as you are likely to ever encounter. His apartment is much nice than mine though.

Of course it was, but I only had the information you provided to work with.:D

And I'm not opposed to that lifestyle. Sex with another person is not the end all of having a good life. It can be very good, but the baggage that comes with it can be very bad, and bad relationships take a lot out of you not to mention time that you can never get back.

In following this thread and observing who is either responding to or reading it, one has to take into account that many people are not interested in discussing details of an intimate nature. Also, there may be persons who are painfully shy to the point that they have little or no reason to take such a test.

The brief relationship I had was the happiest time of my life. I wish I could genuinely not care, and be happy alone, but it's false. Finding fault with women and relationships is just rationalizing failure, like Aesop's The Fox and the Grapes
