That's where our next vacation is gonna be. My husband wanted to go to Maine, so I said "Let's go a bit further and actually go out of the country"
He's lived a few hrs from Canada all his life, and never been there.

Will you be visiting Shorty on the way there ?

Not going to be traveling abroad for a while. The exchange rate is awful. I was in St. Mark's Square having a beer last October and it cost 9€. That translated to about $14.50. It wasn't even a real beer but an alcohol free one.

Huh, aren't you familiar with that ?

Enmos...the only alcoholic beverage that I drink is red wine...and I drink it 2 times a year. Everything else that I tried...like beer and vodka...does not go with me at all. That is why I am anxious to try what this alcohol free beer is all about...the flavor within it holds to savor the tongue of mine.

Well, you can get it everywhere over here. And it's not expensive at all..

??People actually drink beer for the taste? To me that's like drinking decaf coffee.
If I'm gonna drink alcohol free beer, I might as well drink a coke.

I've been drinking alcohol free beer for twenty five years, ever since my throat surgery for cancer. I started drinking Gablinger's, a truely awful tasting beer.

I have had alcohol free beer all around the world from Australia to Canada and from Mexico to Europe and today's brands are pretty good. The best are still the alcoholfreibiers of Germany. I purchase their imported ones here in The States rather than drinking American beers. The two best alcohol free beers are Clausthaler and St. Pauli at least in my opinion.

There is also alcohol free wine althoigh it is a poor imitation of real wine. There is even a British company that makes alcohol free whiskey and scotch.

Yeah, the St. Pauli one is pretty impressive. I once picked one up and started drinking it without realizing it was fake beer. It wasn't until somebody pointed it out that I noticed.
