How can you see all of these places? Who's got the money? I feel like a loser having been in the US all of my life.

Absane life throws us like garbage...all around...

And yes the world is so different from US...its all another life out there.

Inzonmania- the quintessential globetrotter. Awesome pics, you should put them up on the Pic thread. I won't even try an beat you. When did you start travelling ?

Live in US, have only been to Canada and Mexico. And I'm very sad about that. :(

You're not a loser, Absane, everybody knows US is the center of
the world ;) and I've never been there.

I see this places mostly funded by 'third party':

* Germany: studying here funded by scholarship from germany government.

* Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand: presenting technical paper,
funded by my first former office

* Japan, Korea: funded by my second (and last) office

* Srilanka & Dubai: just transit.

* Netherland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy: Funded by
myself. It looks like a lot of countris but its because they are
close and cheap to reach from germany. For example, went to
Netherland, Luxembourg, and Belgium, each only 38.5 euro (57 USD).
Went to other places when there were special offers.

* Qatar: just transit

* Nepal: part of current project study, funded by DAAD

* Next year (maybe): Chile: part of work & study, funded also by DAAD;

Amazing. I want to see this in real life :)

Thanks, Absane, I dream to get married there one day, in one
beautiful evening, with sunset as background, hehee.. Its home
anyway.

Btw from today (3 dec) till 14 Dec there is a world event there
(in Bali), a United Nation Climate Change Conference 2007.
