where did you find your who/mail/edit icons?
did you make them? or are they public domain?

2 question:

u own newsreality.com ? That site is amazing, there is so much news i can't even keep up with it all (compared to the amount found on the old exosci.com) Do you have a staff? or people that contribute to write all those news articles?

1) I found the icons at the AppleInsider ( http://www.appleinsider.com/ ) site. I actually <cough> don't know if the icons are public domain or not. But since AppleInsider's job is to post pictures of secret Apple Computer projects and various other acts of corporate espionage, I'm assuming they have little respect for copyright laws.

2) <blush> yes, I do operate NewsReality. no, I don't have a staff. this is all a one-man operation. Most of the site is run by pseudointelligent bot programs that collect and analyze news.

DaveW-Wow! And I can't get my software installed properly sometimes... By the way, I've been looking at some other BBs lately and was amazed at how scattered the others are. Makes me not even want to bother with them. We're spoiled now haha! Great job!

this is off topic but when I try to enter this board sometimes my netscape program freezes up. It use to happen periodically but now it is doing this on a regular basis. I remember reading about this problem in this forum before but I don't recall any solution being offered

Do you have any idea what is happening?
I would appreciate any advice you could offer
 
Some of the ad banners at the bottom of the page use Java. Perhaps this is what's causing your crashes??

Try disabling Java support in your browser preferences.
