How about mods list in this thred the curent undesirable Sciforums posters... an also pont out what changes they need to make to become acceptable Sciforums posters.???

I wouldn't suggest something like this... "Name And Shame" tactics rarely have the effect of improving relations

Thanks... a clarification needs to be made... an what i mean by "undesirable" is... posters who are more of a negative than a positive to Scifourms.!!!

Or had you rather hold on to the undesirable posters... an if so... why.???

While we're at it..
we could just ban them when we feel like it. Why name them first? Or are you worried you might be one of them?

What's the purpose of this thread anyway? I'm not even aware of such a list.

Do you have a list?

So undesirable posters will know who they are an what changes they need to make to become acceptable Sciforums posters.!!!

This way the undesirables woud know who they are an what changes are needed to become acceptable.!!!

Thats cause it ant happened yet :spank:

So let me get this straight..
You want the mods to get together to discuss the members, work out amongst themselves which ones should be labled 'undesirable', and then put them on a list in order to display them here?
Seriously?

What makes you think we need to name and label people in order to make clear how they are supposed to behave on this website?
How about this: http://www.sciforums.com/announcement.php?f=30
Just a suggestion, of course.

The specificity of namin names an exactly what needs to be changed is a fare an just way to put the undesirables on notice... an will be much more effective wit immediate results... insted of jus postin a link to a bunch of rules.!!!

We could just forceably change their avatars to pink triangles or yellow stars and put them in the user group unerwünscht.

I would like to think that the discussion on any topic and the quality of the discussion , is more important than any labels

Manageable batches? You make it sound like we're making jam...

And I'll pass thanks. Rather deal with cases on a case by case, need to deal with it now, base thanks.

You are not children. We aren't putting up a name and shame list and hope for the best. You could only suggest we do something like that if you enjoy conflict.

Forcin the undesirables to shape up or be shipped out will instantly improve the quality of discussion.!!!

Wit the undesirables shaped up or gone... the level of conflict woud be less.!!!

Are ther any current posters that you thank are more of a negative than a positive for Sciforums.???

True, if there were less "undesirables" , there would be less conflict.

Mainly, because only those of like mind would be left...

Dullsville.

It takes a mix, to make things interesting... Trolls, and all.

O ther woud still be conflict... but it woud be more mature/civil in nature... ie... less disruption of civil discussion dew to undesirables who consistently brake Sciforuns rules.!!!
