Hey, I love Spongebob. "The Muppet Movie" is one of my top ten films. I read "Winnie the Pooh" for the first time when I was 30 and I have a tiny silver Piglet on my keyring so I always have Piglet in my pocket just like Christopher Robin. I was once president of a teddy bear collector's club and met some of the nicest people in my life. I talk to my dogs and they talk back. (All dogs do, it's just that some poor people can't hear them.) I put silly stickers on my letters to my wife.

Please explain why any of this is more "childish" than making a multi-billion dollar industry out of watching a bunch of guys chasing a ball (like dogs), or a bunch of cars driving real fast in circles (like dogs chasing their tails).

Or taking over somebody else's country and destroying it (like a bunch of really bad dogs).

so what's your stance on adults who use hearts or smiley faces to dot their i's?

My notes were sought after in college, because I was supposed to have a good writing back then. This is what remains now:

I love your s's and g's. Like a big and small version of the same thing. Can you show me a capital S and a capital G in cursive please? How do you make your z's?

Thanks, here you go! I guess I am less patient at writing than I was a few years back and that is the reason for an overall deterioration.

Ah, you mock.
Well, I have thrown down the glove.
As the instigator of this thread, consider yourself challenged. I think, given the LOL, honor demands that you analyze one of the other handwritings and leave yourself open to mockery as well.
Thou hast been challenged to open analysis.

I will, but not today :)
I tried to analyze my own handwriting, but it turns out to be a bit difficult because all websites I've been to are not based on printing (I believe that's what my writing 'style' is called).
Anyway, your attempt at analyzing it is appreciated :)

Most of the people I know don't use handwriting for anything except friendly correspondence. Word processing is available for everything else, after all. We're from California so I've seen much sillier things than that. I had a friend named Beth and she decided to rename herself Beth-o and she wrote it that way on everything except her tax return and driver's license. (The real person's name goes a lot more euphoniously with the O but I can't seem to make one up that works as well.)

It's all just good fun. Life is too short to take seriously. My wife's name has an I and in the odd circumstance where I'm actually handwriting it I dot it with a heart.

I've got a Spongebob pineapple sitting on my desk at the office.

All yellow, absorbent, and porous is he. :)

Yeah, I get my own office at work Monday, but I was told no spongebob pics. bummer. Where I worked before I had my own office with its own bathroom. That was spongebob even down to the switch plate and toilet seat cover. :D

And I agree, life is too short to be stuck in the rut of being a proper grown up. Its also quite boring.
Beth-O huh? LOL.

Darn! Was away for a few days and totally missed this thread.... :p

Will be back tomorrow morning with my copy! :)
