Many in war torn or countries with bad governments where people are oppressed for various reasons look up to america as a beacon of hope, that its not just a dream but there exists a country, people etc fighting the good fight and in many ways won. However they are oppressed or rights they are denied or exploited. Wow, so true. That someone also cares about these things and they are winners or overcame. Actually no, these are two violent and awful people. The protests against Trump and the fact that Clinton won the popular vote and still isn't President, have been pretty much peaceful. Don't forget, your candidate urged people to take to the streets if he lost. Meanwhile, there are dozens upon dozens of attacks on minorities and women, many of the victims being children, by your fellow Trump supporters.

That's the cover story - if you read the title of this thread, and compare with Trump's rhetoric, you must agree that Trump's incivility (not content) is what has won, and therefore what is meant by PC on this thread. His content of ideas, such as it is, is unexceptional and irrelevant on those occasions when it is not falsehood, and is not at issue.

Untrue. The swing States he won featured a reduction in minority voting, correlated with the minority vote suppression efforts of the Republican Party.
It is possible that a reduction in the minority vote granted to Clinton was responsible for her loss, but Trump's absolute numbers were too low for his increase in percentage over Romney to be responsible for his win.
Trump won because an unusually large number of white bigots and fundies turned out and voted for him.

You know these people are kinda selfish. For those who have not been to america, all those red states in the midwest besides the south is a lot of open land, dotted with many towns filled with mostly or all whites. Actually they have most of the united states. And besides most non-whites dont care to move there anyways. Usually immigrants want to mingle with different types of people, thats why they immigrated and mostly congregate in multicultural centers. Would a kkk member think of relocating to china? Heck no. The most progressive or multicultural places are usually the major cities. As if those bigots dont have enough room or something. Its no ones fault their boring towns dont get traffic except to pass through. What are they complaining about? There are many or virtually all white towns and suburbs. Where do these people get the idea that people want to live among them so much? They can keep their piggly wiggly and white picket fence. No one is bothering them or their way of life.

I find it extremely difficult to accept that there are such folk in USA who are so hateful and intolerant.
It is clear that is the real problem I hope the nation can overcome the hate that I now notice.
It is sad that folk who say they believe in Jesus simply reject his teachings which I think could be distilled into "love your fellow man".
I guess they missed that page of their bible.

I have been in Egypt three times and Egyptians are not very politically correct people, so if you would say to Egyptians that they are black, you would get your ass kicked very quickly.

Texas State University police confirmed they are investigating reports of threatening fliers posted on campus by alleged supporters of president-elect Donald Trump.
Police declined to give further information until Thursday, but a Texas State student and a Texas State employee said several of the fliers have been found around campus.
"Now that our man Trump is elected and Republicans own both the Senate and the House -- time to organize tar & feather vigilante squads and go arrest and torture those deviant university leaders spouting off all this diversity garbage," at least one of the fliers reads, according to a photo that the university community is sharing.

A little while ago a couple of Israeli researchers showed that one way to actually persuade an extreme opinion holder to scale back and question their beliefs was to agree with them, but in exaggerated language - it evoked a re-examination by them of their own opinions, in reaction to seeing their logical extension. That was published research, and famous for a week or so around liberal arts colleges.
That flyer looks like an attempt at using that technique.
Didn't Wikileaks show us how the Democrats paid people, to create trouble at Trump rallies, so their media supporters can spin the story into Trump supporters being violent? I would not put the flier incident past the Democrats. The Trump supporter won, so they don't need to play games like the war is still on. The losers do that. I bet you can trace the Anti-Trump riots back to Democrat operatives and organizers being paid for by Soros and the Democrats.
