Yes. But they can also do anything they wish with it.
If I was to make some music that I wanted to put online and sell, Google could take my music and use it however, whenever, and wherever they wanted.
Now right here we have some classic rationalization.Google has been STRONG advocates for privacy, they have even withheld personal information on people even when SUBPOENAED. I know they have been gathering a lot of data for results on how Google Chrome has been working, could this possibly be the reason why all these claims have come up? And btw, Google is being forced to send the information, but they're working on making it anonymous, so that whoever is asking for the information(definitely NOT an average joe) will only receive the searches, not who sent them.
