Glitch in Calendar and with posting

When I click a date in the calendar to see who's birthdays there are, the new window shows the day after.

When I write a post and send it, I can't see it on the main page, I have to leave it, go to a different page and then come back to the one I was working on.

For this new thread my post showed up straight away. I shall now go and reply to some other post and check again.
