Will fusion power ever be available to us here on Earth. I know that we have the Sun and the bomb, but when will it be powering my desktop?

I dont think it is a matter of when our technology is ready, I thinnk it is a matter of when our attitude to use it for the right reasons come into it.

Some say its as close as 5 or ten years. Others that its more like 40 years away. theres threads on this topica already in sciforums, go have a search.
