Favorite movie lines

Norway was somewhat conservative back in the 70s, so banned it. Sweden less so, and just enjoyed taking the piss out of Norway. :)

Life of Brian? Not sure why though if correct, Sweden high atheist population?
Yes, LoB. Not sure about atheism, relatively speaking, but Norway is generally considered more conservative on moral issues than those free-wheeling Swedes.

Back there I could fly a gunship, I could drive a tank, I was in charge of million dollar equipment, back here I can't even hold a job *parking cars*!

FYI, 'cos he was recently discussed here... Tom Stoppard died today. Aged 88. Hope his Credit rating doesn't suffer. ;)

^ Not enough movie quotes to choose from such that you dig out something from a ST: os episode?? Ah, well.

"I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor. That's my dream. That's my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight razor. And surviving." - Colonel Kurtz

"Everyone gets everything he wants. I wanted a mission, and for my sins, they gave me one." - Captain Willard.

"Hand me down that can of beans"
Great film. "Wandering star," is fantastic. His voice scared me as a kid it was that low.
I think it goes as low as C#, two below middle C.
I can sing it when I am coming out of a chest infection.

Sometimes these difficult times call for some kind of emotional release - the kind that perhaps can be aided by really paint-peeling eyebrow-scorching cursing and invective. What are your favorite choice words of vituperation from movie dialogue? A good start might be with the unique and finely cut gems of verbal abuse from Peter Capaldi, aka Malcolm Tucker....

"Allow me to pop a jaunty little bonnet on your purview and ram it up your shitter with a lubricated horse cock!"

Stumbled across a clip of collected Capaldi rants from this show on Youtube a while back. Thought I'd bust a gut laughing.

Couldn't help thinking Man ! If they'd only let him play Dr. Who like that !

Gotta go with R. Lee Ermy on the invective:
"You're the type to fuck a person in the ass and not have the goddamn common decency to give him a reach around !"

"To be on the wire is life. The rest is waiting."
Joe Gideon (Roy Scheider), All That Jazz
The quote is generally attributed to Karl Wallenda, the famous high-wire artist who died in a fall the year before the film came out. So I guess he was proven to be correct.
