I'll continue with another movie thread, who is your favorite movie character.

I vote for Buliwyf in the 13th warrior

Alex de Large. End of debate.

Also cool is Kevin Spacey, the gimp, in Usual Suspects. And Steve Martin in Spanish Prisoner. Oh, and that guy in Pi.

Reese Witherspoon's character 'Julia' in 'Freeway',

Anybody seen it? Anyways, Julia, is a juvinile delinquent who is kidnapped by a serial rapist/murderer. She is of course carrying a gun, and shoots him. But he survives and is taken to jail.....rent it!

no the 2 cops in leathal weapon
Riggs and murtar
(Mel Gibbson is a legend)

Edit: removed extra "l" from mel

I have three:

the viscount Valmont (John Malkovich) in Dangerous Liaisons
Frick (Martin Short) in Merlin
Starscream (the Transformer)

Hmmm about any highly intelligent evil character plotting and scheming. They make movies so much fun. I fall asleep with the 'good' characters (most of them are not actually good at all!)

Oh I forgot: and Albert Rosenfield in Twin Peaks! I love him.
makes four Is that alright with you?!

Good one

Reese in Freeway

She did an very good job also.

Ill vote for Dr. Gonzo and Roaul Duke in Fear and Loathing. They both did an excellent job. Oooh, I like Xavier from Traffic too. :D

My kids would say Thomas the Tank Engine - or possibly Tinky Winky, however I think my favourite characters (fairly) recently would be Morgan Freeman's 'Red' in Shawshank Redemption - or Michael Clarke Duncan as 'John Coffey' in The Green Mile.

Hey I've just realised that they are both Steven King based movies......

James Bond..... Need I say more?

Kevin Spacey as Lester Burnham in American Beauty.

Tyler

Hey did you know that was Tobey McGuire (new Superman) as the hitchhiker??? And that, that was Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) that was in the bathroom licking his sweater?? I never knew that until yesterday. I thought that was pretty funny:D

The ones that play out of character ...

Edward Norton -- American History X
Bill Paxton -- A Simple Plan, Frailty
Anthony Hopkins -- Shadowlands
Lawrence Olivier -- Dr Zhivago
Peter O'Toole -- Lawrence of Arabia
Brad Pitt -- Snatch (just his parts)
Ewan McGregor -- Moulin Rouge
Val Kilmer -- Tombstone
Denzel Washington -- Training Day

Thanks!

Tombstone, I loved that movie.

And as far as Rouge goes: "Love is like oxygen, Love lifts us up where we belong, love is all you need."

"Narcoleptic Argentinian".
