Facebook is overdue to be hacked in a manner that compromises user data and make the people who use it regret that association.

Freedom of association is a basic right abridged for profit by services like Facebook. Whomever I choose to associate with or not is no one's business but my own. You would think businesses would catch on to this risk faster than individuals, but thus far, they have not.
