Hypothetically, what if the contagious disease small pox is released on upon the U.S. How does the U.S. prepare for an epidemic if the disease is released in a densely populated area such as NY? So far Bin Laden and the Tailbone has made the U.S. look really stupid and totally unprepared. Obviously the U.S. is responding to these acts of terrorism, but is it enough? When is it time to get more powerful weapons involved, such as nukes? It seems like there is a new case of anthrax everyday. The U.S. govt' says there is no reason to panic. That is a bunch of B.S. this is the most danger the U.S. citizens have ever been in in the history of our country.

What are your thoughts on these subjects?

More people will have died of car accidents since Anthax breakouts, I don't see us banning cars or anything of that sort.

More people will die from the flu, heat stroke, and more will contract the west nile virus than Antrax. Antrax is actually a pretty shitty weapon to kill people with, it's easily killed by anti-biotics.

As for any other bio breakout, we're prepared. Granted many people will die, but we can handel it better than any other country of our size or larger.

680 million parcels of mail are processed and delivered on average, per day. Which puts three letters in your hand, on average daily. Even if the terrorists sent a thousand Antrax letters out at random, your chances of getting one are only, 1 in 244,000. At present the likeleeness of getting Antrax via mail, is next to getting struck by lightinging.

We should be watching for hijacked planes, ships, or truck bombs.
 
Good Point thecurly1. But if small pox or any other highly contagious disease for that matter is spread in a densely populated area than the U.S. has a problem on their hands. A couple questions; for the 40 and 50+ year olds who had vaccinations for small pox when they were born, does that sort of thing ever ware off over time? And if so, does the U.S. have enough resources to revaccinate those people?
 
Yes and No, Csreech. A good question is, is it reasonable to believe they (the terrorist) have the ability to obtain such a virus?
 
Well heres something that has the crap scared out of my. My school has just given me a letter, im in highschool(senior), and it contains information brought to us via the CDC on how to handle anthrax and an outbreak of anthrax and/or smallpox!The principle has attached a note onto this information that he got from the CDC. It says basically to not worry and that anthrax is not deadly but in no way does he mention smallpox and how deadly it is. THis has me a bit scared.
 
Thanks Boswer that was very informative and my nervous are calemed a little bit. It still doesnt help the fact that everytime they interupt tv programing and say something im about to have a heart attack!
 
The terrorism is working.You Americans have been fed so much bullshit by the media that if someone sneezes you figure Anthrax. Relax people, The NWO wants you to be scared, the more scared the public is the easier it will be for the government to take away your rights and freedoms. Once Martial law starts you might as well just hand yourself over to the concentration camps cause that is where 2/3 of the population will be within 2 years.

Its a good dime novel read, really. But not something that deserves serious contemplation.
