The only true thing about enlightenment, is that the mind does not perceive it, since the mind is enlightened by the absence of that mind's thinking.
There is no thought which is truly enlightened only thought from enlightened state.
Nor is it thinking "now, I am enlightened". As soon as this thought occurs, it not true.
There is one mind, which is no-mind. Only no-mind is enlightened state, of mind. The true nature of mind is not thinking but being. Thought is external to the inner mind of self, which does not need to think, just be. Therefore being enlightened cannot be thinking "I am enlightened", since nor does "I" exist, only a state of mind exists, and that only because mind exists. Mind exists because enlightenment is always possible for mind.
The sound is always made, listening to the sound is not a matter of thinking "I can hear the sound".
