Okay, so I bought one of these last week and despite a glitch with the setup app, I got it up and running within a short stretch of time. It's probably the smartest device I own but also the dumbest. It can tell me the number of cells in the human body, the area of the united states, the price if bitcoin, but it can't tell me how to make orange juice. Nonetheless, I'm impressed with my $29.99 investment. It feels like my first online experience, back when AOL was still a thing. I can see these things becoming fully integrated into the rest of our technology, both at home and at work. Given time we will be having conversations with all our machinery.
