Apparently. Saw some hints. Looked at the list.

He seems to have lost moderator status. And possibly credibility.

Someone want to throw some Blue's Clues at me?
 
All I can say is that it was his own decision. He quit. No credibility loss..

Why wouldn't he still have his credibility?
I take it you took the failure to moderate (by other moderators) Gendanken in that thread was a sign that he lost credibility?

He made a thread in the mod forum a couple of days ago in which he explains why he asked Plazma to demote him.
As for the actual reasons, that's for him to post here if he should choose to do so.
 
Someone like Dywyddyr makes the rest of you so called 'moderators' look like cat litter.

Despite whatever rationale this Dwyard person managed to provide for no longer holding the title of moderator, I cannot believe whatever Sciforums has become would ever develop a cataract that thick and not see the peril of having something like that boy in any position of power.

I didn't realise that "credibility" was required to post here, that's not the impression one would gain from looking at some (many) posts on the forum.

This "Dywyddyr" halfling's treatment of Moose1989 in that thread.

We can slur Genadanken as a "sociopath"-- a prole favorite-- razing hell through the forums, or that harpy chewing the scalp off some chick's head for being an ugly camwhore, but that vile abuse of another's opinion you see in that thread is disgusting.

It the despotic, poorly managed hunger pangs of a lazy control junkey trying to swallow a cheap source of energy.

And its almost painful hearing Moose1989 trying to laugh it off in some other thread-- take on someone your own size, bloody coward.
 
If by "humanitarian" you're describing an anatomy lesson of slicing that spineless worm's clitellum.

If you cannot see what's so glaringly obvious in that thread, Signal, then you've no business dabbling in humanities.

I have to admit that for as long as D. has been a moderator, I have turned a blind eye to his posts.

I already have two infractions for not having turned a blind eye to such things; and after I have received them, I did become rather apprehensive.

The moderation against moose in that thread (could someone provide a link) was blatantly ridiculous.

I'm assuming that moose has been deemed a crackpot by D and has been subjected to extra scrutiny and rigor involving his posts. But it reads as fucking disgusting.

If that's a typical example of D's moderating then he shouldn't have been given the opportunity to resign.

D used to wear a duck in his former guise, yes? I don't remembe him being so tyrannical. A quick perusal of posting history shows two types of post: harassing and joking.
Some people shouldn't have "power."
