Does Anyone hate Mark Zuckerberg as Much as I Do? See, I already disliked FaceBook for its badly laid out website: what with its announcements that 4,562 people liked Billy Billson’s snot rag joke and it’s teeny tiny message doohickey (that works only intermittently, if at all) where you can chat with someone you actually know and perhaps care about. Then I was on a plane somewhere over India (takes hours to fly over that particular subcontinent) when I got so bored I turned on the movie rather than read the book I had brought along. The film bête noir was partway through and about some dude who was an ass and a half, an asshole squared, an asshole cubed, an asshole to the 100th power. Apparently some dick-brained college dude wrote nasty shit about some girl on the internet -probably because she wouldn’t put out;him being such a pecker head- and all- of course she was as embarrassed as hell, and the dude really should have known better because who doesn’t know in this day and age that it’s uncool to slag people on the net?
Anyway, the last thing I needed was to watch a movie about some sociopath who has no idea how to behave in a civil society. I can witness that in real life! Who was this nasty piece of work? And who in their right mind would make, or watch, a film about such a social misfit? So I switched off the film and had a nap over Benares. Months later I realized the film was The Social Network, which was supposed to be so hip.
I realize my topic isn’t, well, topical, and that all this is old hat, but it still bothers me that such a little sniveler could not only get rich, but even exist in the first place. If there is a hell, Mark Zuckerberg is surely someone I will have to avoid meeting when I get there. :bugeye:
