Difference between particles in nature and accelerators

Just wondering if there could be a difference between particles created in accelerators and particles in nature. Could particles in nature be high rest mass and low momentum and particles in accelerators be high momentum and low rest mass? Is theres differences in particles with the same masses when the amount of rest mass to momentum ratio vary?
 
I got a sneaky suspicion that this is VERY important to understand... :shrug:
