Hi everybody,

I'm interested in finding out a bit more about the people who post to this board. Since there doesn't seem to be any kind of survey so far, I thought it might be interesting to ask a few questions. Respond to however much of this you want to.

1. How did you first hear about or discover sciforums.com?
2. How often do you visit sciforums?
3. What city/town/state/country are you in?
4. How old are you, roughly? (please answer the poll, too).
5. What do you do when you're not here (i.e. occupation etc.)?
6. Which topics in sciforums interest you the most? Why?
7. What qualifications do you have (if any)?
8. Do you have any pets? What are their names?
9. Give one fact about yourself not already provided in the above answers.

I can honestly say that I have no idea

How often do you visit sciforums?

Usually at least twice a day

What city/town/state do you live in?

What do you do when you're not here?

High-school related stuff, write science fiction, play on the comp, walk dogs at a kennel

Qualifications?
I'm going to say this in a very serious way-I graduated from elementary school.

Any pets?

My house is a zoo. Lets see. Two cats-Jungle and Pepper, two dogs-Jessie and Simon (Simon's retarded-not in the medical sense I swear to god a rock could beat him at any intelligence test on Earth), two birds (that are mine)-Gandalf and Galadriel (I've had them for a few years, I didn't base their names on the Lord of the Rings hype), and my sis has an iguana-bixie.
Phew!

One fact not provided eh?

Q. Why survey since unvalidated data?

Chagur,

Q. Why survey since unvalidated data?

I like to get an idea of who I'm talking to. It's amazing how much you can tell about a person from their pets! ;)

Sure, people can lie, but that doesn't worry me too much. I personally wouldn't see the point in replying to this type of thing if you're going to lie. After all, I haven't asked for any really personal information.

Anyway, how many survey responses are validated?

It is interesting that people are so wary so far, though. This thread (at the time of writing this) has so far been viewed almost 100 times, yet there have been less than 10 responses.

by even a small bit of exposure?
