There should be no discussion of paedophilia, the subject is not open for debate, as sane people do not question the merits of the current laws we have in place to keep it illegal.

Further, I move that we delete all threads pertaining to the discussion.

Asguard said as long as the kid is dying, they might as well have sex. :shrug: They can't get pregnant and who cares if they get STDs, they're dying anyways.

Secondly my comment was about a dying 9 year old and another young child and i pointed out that it would make no difference if they consumated there "marriage"

Thirdly this is surposed to be a SCIENCE site and science is constantly up for challange even when we find the subject distasteful. If this wasnt the case then homosexuality would never have come off the criminal code. This isnt ment to suggest that i think pediophilia is good or shouldnt be illegal but we should be willing to back up our desires to keep it illegal
 
I find phlogistician's comments quite amusing. He apparently believes that his own morality should be cannon and unassailable.

If it it not assailable, it is dogma.

and its bothersome that a person going into the medical field has no problems with a 9 yr old girl having sex. What do you think your employer would think of that? Or your patients?
