or any profession..doesn't really have to be yours..

mechanical engineer..

i rest my case at this:
http://stagevu.com

that site is awesome by the way..high definition - easily downloadable videos - (including full featured movies, this is not spam, and i don't think that site is illegal(i hope))

i just hope you don't get busy surfing it to tell us why your profession is best..

You have a strange idea of what mechanical engineering does if you think that's a defence of the profession.

I'm sorry but I do not have a "profession" , I have a "trade". I do not need to defend them for they are already looked upon as a needed part of the society I live in and are well respected for what they do.

well that's my idea of it..mechanical engineering is broader than that..

(or again any profession)

No, I hold a masters license in two trades, I did have my own company for many years which I was the sole proprietor of. A trade is carpenter, electrician, mechanic or plumber as examples. :)

so a skilled practical work...but how come you have a masters in them?? and a COMPANY?? wow..you sure know how to expand..but to be able to excel in such practical occupations, and achieve as you did..you really have to be the best of the best, eh?

LOL! Not really, all you need is to be mechanically inclined and have some business sense about things. Not really the best of the best but just being able to know what the rules and regulations are as well as how to fix, repair or design things. ;)

(sight)..sounds like a quite yet successful.. simple yet intelligent way to live...nowadays we associate success with big companies and 18 hours of work on billions of dollars invested in state of the art- world changing fields..

a life like yours is very tempting..but i believe i'll go with life the hard way..some REAL dirty things in this world which just have to be done..and i love a challenge..

WELL??

anyone else who has a job he wants to share??

i think i shoul've made it "curse your profession"

I am a professional virgin, I can atest to it's 1. keeping me from becoming a dad 2. keeping me from being broke all the time 3. driving me to near madness 4. causing me to need medication for depression

:D

I'm underpaid, overworked, and I love every fucking minute of it. I've worked manual labor since I was 14 and now that I'm on the pathway to a career that not only will I love, but I will be able to change ppl's lives and help them. Fuck yeah. I never fail at the things I truly want.

Fuck my profession.
lol..which is?
oooo, I wish that was my profession. Sounds so much more exciting than my job
if you got to change yours, what will you choose and why?
Sex for work is not as fun as it sounds.
you better not be talking from first hand experience..:p

As for me, I'm a college student. I don't work a part-time job because I've hypothesized that uneducated jobs will de-educate a person. That's just my opinion though. I'll save the blue collar jobs for the uneducated, because I sure as hell can't afford to lose precious mnemomically preserved scientific facts:cool:.
