Like washing your hands, couldn't they convert the carbon to soap to catching more carbon?

It doesn't look like I find anywhere this specific idea of spraying smoke with soapy water. I think I'm going to have to experiment.
The problem with CO2 is not its smell.I just used a spray bottle to neutralize the smoke from burning paper. It appears to work, the smell of soap overpowered that of fire.
