Could I see members "ignoring" me?
Don't know if it would require a lot.

My son opined years ago that it was probably best to ignore anyone who began any oratory with the three words "I don't think...",I don't think so, no.
If someone is ignoring you, that's essentially no one's business but their own.

Wot dat?I'm wanting abreaction.
To bitch about something and know it is received.Wot dat?
What would be the point? Do you take pride in how many people are ignoring you? Or do you wish that the people who are ignoring you would pay attention to you?Could I see members "ignoring" me?
When I say things like:
"So, you're now promoting pedophilia?"
"It also seems to being feminine is crime to you:; so being raped is my own fault?"
I want to express myself and not be ignored.
Just continue to express yourself, Beer w/Straw...I want to express myself and not be ignored.
...seems like a waste of time, energy and thought to fret about those SciForum Members that have consciously chosen to be ignorant.Isaac Asimov said:Imagine the people who believe such things and who are not ashamed to ignore, totally, all the patient findings of thinking minds through all the centuries since the Bible was written. And it is these ignorant people, the most uneducated, the most unimaginative, the most unthinking among us, who would make themselves the guides and leaders of us all; who would force their feeble and childish beliefs on us; who would invade our schools and libraries and homes. I personally resent it bitterly.
It's for members to leave feedback. And yes, staff read it.Site feedback is mainly for staff.
Thanks for your feedback. However, I note that you have not given any specifics about why you are dissatisfied with the moderation/admin here. This sounds a bit like a generic whinge. This site is floating without any guidance; The only functional staff James R comes here once in a fortnight, makes some posts here and there and again out he goes. I feel he is not able to do justice to the super mod position given to him, does not matter if it is free service, he must resign.

This is also off topic for this thread. I suggest you start a separate one, or perhaps send me a private message if you have some constructive suggestions.
I'm afraid it is everyone's right to ignore another person and there is nothing you can do about that. I should have thought the best policy would be to try to write things that are not crap and which people will be interested to read. Responding thoughtfully to someone else's post is one way of doing that. (I usually read your contributions by the way, but often they don't seem to call for a response.)Yes, I want to have attention.
:EDIT:
I don't ,people to ignore me just for my opinion..
