hi

i don't know who said this but there is a phrase: "whoever controls the past controls the future."

what we do now becomes the past and is seen in the future.

i think that is the meaning of the phrase.

is changing what we do NOW (IN THE PAST)- thinking before we act-a way of changing the past and the future?

'Controlling the past' refers to those who (re)-write the history books.

For example, some Americans are attempting to control the future by whitewashing uncomfortable historical events like slavery. There is a movement to rename it 'involuntary relocation' because 'slavery' is an ugly word.

Phrase upgrade v1.1
Whoever controls the Past, with actions through the Present, controls the Future.

Phrase upgrade v1.2
Whoever controls the Past, with actions through the Present, controls the Future, of whatever is being controlled.
