it's nice to see that after my prolonged absence I'm still at the top 10 (6/10) :)
the reasons behind my choice to return to active posting?
Strangely but I have observed that the medium intellectual capacity has returned to normal after a year or so of utter bolloxness at Sciforums.
Hope that this is not just a paranormal phenomena caused by some weird planetary activity that is widly being discussed at Pseudoscience forum. :D

also I now use the chance to greet all the old members I know and have had wonderful discussions with in the past
Hiya, I'm very happy to see you again!
And I'm looking forward to new word and idea clashes that help us so much to crystalize our views and widen our knowledge on a large variety subjects.

megalomaniac.

their intelligence level might have stayed the same, but yours could have changed. at least, that's a good possibility. :p

Ah, it's you volk? xoroshij volcok, cip cip cip :D

naah, I was reading through science threads and got the impression of "betterment"
Religion , philosophy and the likes I haven't read for years now. oh no, there was one reply in ethics I think.

Beowulf hadn't fire resist powers as far as I recall .
he was fighting with the monster's mother (the dragon) at the bottom of the lake, that doesn't count for fire resistance. /grins
or you could try to soak me.

cipa cipa cipa cipa :D (remembers one old russian multik about baba jaga and kascej bezsmertnij)

Beowulf didn't have fire-resistant skin back then, but now anything is possible! Do you really need reference? In Might and Magic game, there was an option, I recall, to either drink from some well, or to... don't remember what.
I am Beowulf, aka Zigfrid! I shall slay you.... (remember, in that multik those two were overcome by the forces of good. i am the force of good and pure, being white.)

you're as white and pure as the killer rabbit in Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail

Remember, in the "Kill the Wabbit" cartoon, the dude feels sorry for his deed. And the wabbit stays alive to avenge.
