We've covered that. Atheism is a state of being, not a philosophy, it has no objective. You are an atheist if you don't accept the religious fairy tales as being true. Atheism is to religious belief(or any other philosophy)as not collecting stamps is to having a hobby. The only conflict atheism is involved with is when religions try to exceed their allowed rights and infringe on others with their religious idiocy. The opposition to gays and gay marriage is a religiously motivated imposition of religious idiocy, trying to curtail the rights of those who are the targets of their bigotry. You have a right to a religious belief, you do not have a right to impose that belief on all.

It seems you are the only one unable to move on from square one. Atheists are not interested in discrediting any loopy BS you want to believe UNTIL you try to impose your views on everyone in society. People believing and participating in a religion are not a problem, people believing that their religion(and it's views)occupies a privileged position in society are the problem. I don't care what you or your religion believes about homosexuality(as an example), but keep it to yourself as far as making law goes. That's freedom of religion, it includes being free from religious intolerance and bigotry.

Some people who were Atheists, Free Thinkers and Deists wrote our Constitution. It contains a blueprint for a free society. Perhaps you've heard of it.

The Humanist in me abhors religious intolerance and bigotry and the damage it causes society. The religious bigots will not restrain themselves, so... But it has nothing to do with being an atheist, I abhor White Racists whether they wrap themselves in their religion or not, I abhor Communists and Fascists whether they are atheist or not. The Right Wing in our country claim to be Christians but they are not, makes no difference, they are still excrement. All of these and other moral conclusions are informed by my Humanism, many of my fellow Humanists are religious people, makes no difference to me, they aren't insanely religious, in fact they are quite sane. I have no incentive, nor any motivation to try to change their beliefs, their hearts are in the right place.

Sure. Michel Foucault proposed new structures within society to replace his contemporary society's failings. William Godwin proposed several versions of utilitarianism, a philosophy whose goal is maximizing happiness and minimizing suffering. John Dewey wrote a lot about progressive education and greatly influenced social reform in the US. He's famous enough that there's a US stamp of him.

Yes. Dewey's work especially transformed early education in America. If you have ever heard the term "hands-on learning" you've heard of Dewey's work.

The word "humanism" has had several meanings since it was coined around 200 years ago. But it has always focused on the importance of human scholarship over religious dogma. Essentially it promoted the organization of society around human institutions (such as education and government) instead of the churches.

Today it has narrowed even further to imply secularism: the complete rejection of alleged "holy" books and a dismissal of the importance of any church. However, it does not absolutely teach that there are no gods. Only that it's up to us to make the world a better place, rather than depending on divine miracles.

Humanism does NOT mean that everyone loves everyone else and there is no hate. There will always be assholes on this planet and we will always have the right to hate them.

If someone hates a person because he thinks that person is an asshole, it would be wise for that person to think about it and understand why. It could be his own fault. After all, some people really are assholes.
