really? i guess they change it up. well maybe ill go back and take it until i get black=good first and see if i do better.

Sometimes these testers don't let on all they are testing.

Did any Caucasian who declared his ethnicity get black=good first?

I declared ethnicity unknown. I wonder if that makes a difference.

ah i keep mesing up. i hate this test.

The test is actually designed to make you mess up, that's how it judges who/what you are. I found I messed up more with the words than the images, For some reason 'Agony' was 'Good' a lot of the time. I guess it's the masochism moderators get use to.

Yes to begin with in the test I saw that at first African American's were being put with the 'bad' category and I thought that it was racist, but as the test progressed the categories changed the other way to balance it out. So it wasn't meant to subliminally program people to become racist.

strong prefrence to european american.. wow that was wierd im a racist and i dident know about it!

How is objecting to being told how to think 'trolling up race hatred'?

Because you're only focusing on the Negative traits of African Americans. That's a fact, look at your first post. All negatives, and zero positives.

You think that reducing humans to words and pictures in some windowless laboratory is somehow 'getting at the truth' of our world?

Racists have lower IQ's, that's a fact. And your illogical analogy supports that fact.

A black American woman once said to me in online debate, "white people need to learn that they are not wanted by black people". She went on to explain that whites have forced themselves onto black people who never wanted to live with them nor invited them.

That's one persons opinion. Do you know the definition of opinion?

Your psychologist would simply respond to her: "Your data suggests a strong automatic preference for African American compared to European American".

That's in correct. Look at the leaders of the Nation of Islam, and the NAACP.

Julian Bond and Louis Farrakhan, both very very light skinned Blacks. Blacks still favor lighter skinned Blacks, so do whites. The most liked African Americans in America is Colin Powell and Barak Obama. Light skinned Blacks. Back during the segregation era. Blacks held what they called *Brown paper bag parties*. If you were darker then a Brown paper bag, then you couldn't get in the event. That's why you should base your conclusions on some evidence. Not just what one *alleged* Black Person told you online.

The culture behind this test implicitly accepts colonialism and slavery as positive historical events when a balanced inquiry would demonstrate that neither were.

Subjective.

Why would someone want to change being racist? Trumpeting one's virtue as a paragon of political correctness is a decidedly stale and inane way to entice others to partake of the Kool-Aid.

What are the positive traits of African Americans? Pardon my ignorance.

Their chief positive trait seems to be that they are 'equal' with all other ethnicities. Bully for them - perhaps if we are all told about it long enough they might start acting that way. But I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

Hillyer. Why do you worry so much about traits of 'African Americans'? Do you actually live in America? Have you ever spent any time with said African Americans? I mean you go to great lengths to tell us all how you don't want to mix with anyone who isn't just like you so why do you feel the need to keep commenting as if you are some sort of expert.

My analogy was simply to demonstrate the absurdity of scientific reductionism especially when dealing with humans. The kind of binary logic employed in this experiment is a gross simplification of the complexity of human psychology.

That's one persons opinion. Do you know the definition of opinion?

It was a black womans opinion.

I can understand though how you wouldn't like it. It deeply offends your liberal sensibilities that blacks should attempt to have their own thoughts and choose their own destiny when you are trying to help them.

I am all for black self-determination.

*Brown paper bag parties*.

Irrelevant.

I am all for black self-determination.

Oh yes you were that same guy that 'gave' the slaves their freedom weren't you. Your stance is exposed as every bit as patronising as the 'liberal' one. Outed at last.

As is ever the case local people will find local solutions to their issues.

Sniffy,

I'm the guy who never left his homeland in the first place.

That's a lesson we all need to learn.

You're the troll. All those African Americans'? Their ancestors didn't have a choice. That's not trolling that is a fact. most migration is down to war, poverty and oppression. apart from all those folk who migrate to Spain every year in search of a better 'lifestyle' of course.

The same as those for any humans. I used to have an African American neighbor in my dorm; we had a lot of fun, she was a management student, very sharp, very bright. She read the same books I did, watched the same shows (although she watched a lot more CSPAN) and she made me laugh with stories about her family and experiences. Never occurred to me that she was a different species.

Personal anecdote.

Very touching but hardly relevant.
