Yeah, I saw a billboard advert for some London gays community group or something that also claimed that "1 in 10 people are gay"... So according to that it is 10%

As for the question, hetero.
 
There's no option for bisexuals. I wonder if they voted Yes or didn't vote at all.
 
Can homosexual men still be aroused by the opposite gender? I once knew a music teacher who was already married with 4 kids, but later admitted that he had a preference for the same sex.
 
That's a bisexual.

They are harder to determine than one or the other... because a preference is usually involved. If preference is involved, you usually prefer one to another, so many gay men and gay women go through life and don't admit to having a preference for one or the other... depending of course on the person.

If i was to give a ratio, i would say that at least 40% of the entire world, of about 6.6 billion people are either gay or bisexual. If they are bisexual, they are less likely to admit both attractions.
 
Well, throughout my life, i am basing it on how many gay and bisexual people i have met. And the number is quite high. I maybe wrong, but it might even be more... How many closeted bisexuals and gays are there really?

I don't think anyone really knows, but I also don't think you should be making a bold assertion like that just based on anecdotal evidence. For example, one factor that would definitely skew your results is you being gay yourself which surely increases the chances of you meeting gay and bisexual individuals.
 
Incorrect. Based upon my lifestyle, i meet a wide range of people, and do not flout that i am gay. It is only that it was asked here, is it known. Also, i an not biased in my opinions about this, so i am being very scientific in my own eyes.

Alright, but even if you disregard that point, your assertion doesn't have anything to back it up besides your personal experiences. You can't make a call on the sexuality proportions on the entire human population just based on that.
 
Yes, but one can make rough guestimates.

Take it or leave it... but consider the larger countries, like Africa, India, Japan, America and even China... All of them are notorious for bisexual and gay and transgender behaviour.

Fine. I'll leave it, but with a guesstimate of my own using your method (which I disagree with so I don't consider my estimate to be correct) of determining the entire world's gay and bisexual population. I put it at 10%.
