Sad to see Australian and Kiwi youth so badly misinformed. The British forcing us into the war? News to me. The closest they came to even thinking about it was when ordering Australian divisions to North Africa rather than the Pacific ... at which point Australia told them to get knotted and began a new relationship with the USA. Rather simplified version of events, of course, but it seems ... warranted, around here.
