Credibility is achieved!! The p-value numbers are in. Anthony of Boston real time predictions of escalated rocket fire by observing the planet Mars are now confirmed as statistically significant

https://anthonyofboston.substack.com/p/for-six-consecutive-years-anthony
  • Probability of Accuracy (2020–2025): The p-value for Anthony’s predictions being accurate is approximately 0.0013, indicating a statistically significant (p < 0.05) probability that the Mars/lunar node phases predict higher rocket fire. Anthony was accurate in 5 out of 6 years (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025).
  • Historical Probability (2005–2025): The p-value is approximately 0.0364, also statistically significant, with 13 out of 21 years showing >50% of rockets fired during Mars/lunar node phases.
  • Accuracy Assessment: Anthony’s predictions were highly accurate, as the concentration of rocket fire during Mars/lunar node phases significantly exceeded non-phase periods in most years, particularly 2020–2023 and 2025. Though 2024 was an exception (45.36%), the predicted period for 2024 (Apr - Jun) still managed to capture a critical escalation when Iran launched its first direct military assault on Israeli territory on April 13th 2024, launching over 300 drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles within the prediction window. Overall, the parameters show robust historical and real-time predictive power, supported by statistical significance.

"...when Mars would be within 30 degrees of the lunar node..."

30 degrees to either side of a lunar node is a 60 degree swath.
There are two lunar nodes, so 60x2=120.

That's 120 degrees out of a total of 360:

Basically, that's 10 days out of every 30 he counts as a win.

By comparison, a mere 50:50 correlation (i.e. no better than chance) would be 15 days out of every 30.

I had ChatGPT produce 6 random numbers between 0 and 359.
This is what it gave me:

Here are 6 random numbers between 0 and 359:
92, 287, 15, 198, 333, 74

This is how that plots out:

3 out of 6 were positive hits.

Of those, the OP forgave himself one:

"Though 2024 was an exception..."

That's one sixth of his sample size he just waves away.

This is the folly of (very) small sample sizes.

This would be an excellent time to once again remind the OP and the world that merely finding two similar trends does not lead to any causal connection.

By the OP's "logic", the number of pirates is a statistically significant predictor of global average temperature.

New ideology backed by real time demonstration of Mars influence--a brief bio of Anthony of Boston

What a great resource! If I'm ever interested, I can go to Anthony's website and read his biography.

Anthony seem like a really important researcher. The first man to link rocket attacks on Earth to the influence of a planet that is 140,000,000 miles from Earth, on average!

How does Mars do it? That is a question for the ages.

No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century that this
world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's
and yet as mortal as his own; that as men busied themselves about their various
concerns they were scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a
man with a microscope might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and
multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacency men went to and fro over
this globe about their little affairs, serene in their assurance of their empire over
matter. It is possible that the infusoria under the microscope do the same. No
one gave a thought to the older worlds of space as sources of human danger, or
thought of them only to dismiss the idea of life upon them as impossible or
improbable. It is curious to recall some of the mental habits of those departed
days. At most terrestrial men fancied there might be other men upon Mars,
perhaps inferior to themselves and ready to welcome a missionary enterprise.
Yet across the gulf of space, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of
the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this
earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us. And
early in the twentieth century came the great disillusionment.

Fantastic opening, to one of the first and best written sci-fi stories.

No one would have believed...
I knew exactly what this was from the first five words! I even heard it in my head in Richard Burton's voice!

(I have probably played JW: WotW more than any other album in my life - about once a month since I was fifteen.)

I particularly love: "..intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us." Sends a shiver down the spine.

He was a graduate of Imperial College, I think, though from humble origins. Very clever man and could really write.

Anthony of Boston’s Mars 360 system proposes a revival of ancient polytheistic traditions, centered on the deity Armaaruss—a fusion of Ares (Greek), Mars (Roman), and Horus (Egyptian)—to address the imbalances of Abrahamic monotheism. His predictions, based on astrological observations since 2019, link Mars’ position within 30 degrees of the lunar node to escalations in global conflicts, such as rocket attacks on Israel (e.g., 2021 Gaza war, 2023 escalations, and the 2025 Israel-Iran war). These accurate forecasts, backed by historical data since 2005, validate Mars’ influence on human behavior and terrestrial events, both as a planet and as a deity, and thus forms the basis for a new religious and social framework—Mars 360 and the revived Roman pantheon. The Romans believed that the planets were closely tied to their gods, viewing them as divine manifestations or symbols of the deities' influence over human affairs. Each planet was associated with a specific god, whose characteristics and domains were thought to shape the planet's astrological effects. When it comes to Mars within this framework, Anthony of Boston’s observation of the planet and his accurate predictions as a result, affirms the ancient Roman paradigm and justifies this new revival.

AnthonyofBoston:

How many followers does your new religion have so far? Is it just one?

Are you hoping to recruit more followers from sciforums?

What "imbalances"?
These accurate forecasts...
How do we know that you made predictions, rather than merely retro-fitting your data to match what happened?
...backed by historical data since 2005, validate Mars’ influence on human behavior and terrestrial events...
Correlation does not necessarily imply causation - even if there is actually a correlation, which sounds dubious.
..., both as a planet and as a deity,...
You believe that the planet Mars and the Roman god Mars are one and the same? How did you verify this?
... and thus forms the basis for a new religious and social framework—Mars 360 and the revived Roman pantheon.
You're hoping to convert the United States back to the ancient Roman pantheon, and away from Christianity? Good luck with that project!
The Romans believed that the planets were closely tied to their gods, viewing them as divine manifestations or symbols of the deities' influence over human affairs. Indeed.
When it comes to Mars within this framework, Anthony of Boston’s observation of the planet and his accurate predictions as a result, affirms the ancient Roman paradigm and justifies this new revival.
There are gaps in your claims large enough to drive a bus through.

Why does any of this matter? Mars moves and rockets are fired, the earth moves and rockets are fired. What's the difference?

I think I can usually intuit initialisms, but JW has mystified me. Is that John Wayne reading WotW?? Jumping Wallabies?

I looked up Mars position when I was born and it was in the Fish. And I've eaten a lot of fish throughout my life! Amazing!!!!
