Alex Jones theory is that the US Government is trying to confiscate all guns,
so that American citizens are unable to defend themselves when martial law begins.
Then they are going to kill 95% of the population, so that they can be replaced by robots.
Is he simply paranoid, or could he be right?

You do realize that the military has jets, helicopters, missles, RPGs and god knows what else. If the goverment could somehow convince the military to kill 95% of the population it would take them about 2 weeks to do it to an unarmed population and it would take them about 2 weeks a 1 1/2 hours to do it to an armed population.

Oh, and Alex is an entertainer who is trying to get rich, or possibly a lunatic - but I doubt it, he just panders to the lunatics.
 
Who is Alex Jones anyway, never heard of him until this post.

Seems he only wants to jump on the fear mongers band wagon to fame and fortune by speaking about things that are only his opinions that he stole from those others who have been saying the same things for decades now. Why is there no common sense when they are only dealing with assault rifles and large magazines for more ammo? Seems that if the suppliers would stop manufacturing them that would be prudent but those manufacturers only want to make more money for themselves so we will continue this forever.

Right, which is why the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were over in about 2 weeks nad 1 1/2 hours. Oh wait...

That said, Jones is a numbnuts conspiracy theorist. The government doesn't have any grand designs on oppressing us, they're simply making a value judgment mistake. Safety is not paramount to freedom.

Er, in those wars we didn't want to kill the citizens, in fact we stayed to protect them. The situations are not at all comparable.

[But overthrowing Saddam took closer to three weeks than two.]

And you wouldn't be killing the unarmed citizens in a potential American coup either, genius. You'd be fighting against the portion of the country that is armed and rebelling, exactly like in Iraq and Afghanistan, wars that have been ongoing or lasted for ten or more years.

Their goals were not to kill 95% of the population, they were trying to keep the casualty levels low - nice try.:(

When the "enemy" hides inside the homes of non combatants and uses citizens as human shields there's always going to be collateral damages but guess who gets the blame....the military. When are you going to see that the propaganda you spread isn't the truth but only , at times, what your lead to believe?

Not sure what your point is, if the military was not there then they wouldn't get blamed. By the way I do not blame the soldiers, I feel for them and for the Iraqs, I blame the goverment of the US and all of us who blindly believed them (I count myself in the group). The war was a disaster - all wars are disasters, but this was epic. Irag was an unnecessary war (disaster), there was no plan devized for post combat (disaster) and the war is one of the best recruiting tools for terrorist (disaster).

Quite simply the US screwed the pooch about as thoroughly as was possible.

Since the troops are in a war and are fighting for their own lives to keep from being killed themselves they find it very hard not to fire upon a house that has enemy combatants within it. They do not know if there are citizens within those buildings and return fire only later to find innocent civilians killed due to their shooting into the building. Then again the troops are there because they were ordered there by the leader of the country and right or wrong they should and will protect themselves even when the enemy is using human shields against them.

I always find it interesting as to how this is reported many times and read that the troops killed so many innocent civilians but the media fails to tell us if the enemy were using those citizens as human shields or was hiding within the buildings that were destroyed by the troops. I'm appalled by the medias use of trying to always make the troops seem at fault when they are only trying to survive and get out of there alive and their buddies too. Try to remember this when reading stories about civilians being killed next time because in any war you do what is needed to protect yourself. Also remember that many families have their own children fighting the troops and will shelter them if they have to who then become part of the enemy as well.

These people are snake oil salesmen.

Stage One. Frighten. Tell people that their home and family and/or health is in danger.
Stage Two. Talk about some almost magical solution to the problem.
Stage Three. Rake in the money.

Here's an interesting one I've looked at today.
A company selling an integrally worthless mineral called Black Mica at a hugely inflated price.
They hook people in by saying they have a natural solution for impure water.
Natural means inexpensive, right? Wrong?
Apparently Black Mica resonates at a frequency which turns water back into its primordial state.
They can't make any health claims, but I'm sure you know what that could cure.
The price? For some rock?
Sometimes the gall of these people leaves you open mouthed.
It's $1200 for a "family pack". A disgusting exploitation of ignorance.

I would never trust any human out there with weapons ever to make the right choice. No one should be allowed weapons, and its right they should go after all those in america that think they should have them.

No one makes the right decisions in this world, so why anyone can say you have a right to weapons is beyond me.

The whole worlds population is bonkers, and you have a right to carry weapons to kill others. That sounds right.

So what if the ptb think the world is overpopulated, it is. The worlds econmoy can only really sustain at most 2 billion, and the sex mad have gone and made it to 7 billion now.

People so irresponsible should never be allowed weapons, and they do not think period.
