Showed me the actual set list. Propranolol needed to step up but it didn't.

I drank, three pints of pretty strong stuff then listened to the set on my headphones.
Then drank some more, then played.
Not the best way to do things but I don't like letting muso friends down and alcohol was the only thing I wanted to calm me down.

И когда вы испытываете какой нибудь стресс, ваш мозг начинает посылать вам сигналы - "Вернись в норму, Пин! Выпей спиртного, Пин! Мне сейчас некомфортно, Пин!" И ваше сознательное не справляется с этим безсознательным. По сути, вы боретесь с самим собой, и в любом случае какая то ваша часть проиграет. Поэтому вы идёте по самому лёгкому для себя пути - вы идёте и выпиваете.

На самом деле, снять стресс можно довольно таки простым способом - с помощью физической нагрузки. Вместо того, чтобы пойти в паб, вы можете пойти в спортзал, или просто совершить пробежку. Эффект будет не хуже. Вам нужно сформировать новые нейронные связи с помощью новых полезных привычек. Это потребует некоторых усилий с вашей стороны вначале, но зато сбережёт ваше психическое и физическое здоровье в результате.

No, it's continual and it's nasty, petty and judgmental. It's a way to shut off any opposing discussion on a discussion board. "I have a hole in my soul"? You said something similar about my apologizing to Parmalee last year. It's ridiculous.

You post about alcoholism and a drinking problem and I was the first to respond and gave a thoughtful reply. You talked about gigging and now I'm the one derailing and I have a "hole in my soul". Maybe be a little less one sided when you decide to "defend" someone. He has posted before about my views making him "sick". Where were you then? Where were you when Parmalee made personal comments for weeks and then when I responded you did the same with "sir, you should apologize"

Are you currently drinking?

It is 7.27am here so no, I am not drinking.

I don't drink in the morning. Week days I have work, weekend I have gigs. When I don't have a gig I may drink in the afternoon watching football.
