So is this what's become of the forums?

It used to be long ago that this place was a young, naughty boy obsessed with the universe and his penis. It was alive, filled with the noise of pubesence and little girls squealing about not being "like that" while the aged and the aging sat on the benches, mourning a limp member dusty with years of neglect.

This place used to shun that old man, sitting there on the bench with his mouth drooling regretting his age. And now the bitch is all grown up, no longer fast enough to flash him her panties and smart enough to get him in trouble for it. She's the granny simply crossing a street now.

Must decay be the fate of all things?
Sophistication and Tact- behold the holy grails of maturity. Those are what that old man likes to slip in your kool aid so that you can grow up to drink milk and end up just like him. The impulse of youth, the lightning strokes of its creative fertility, its desires, needs, and joys are swallowed up year by year in the milky white boredom of his Sophistication and Tact. The nerve of the world to mislable decay for maturity.

And now I come back to find the forums as mature as spoiled milk.


Don't get me wrong, this place has never been nor will be anything more than kill time but its no longer as fun to slaughter one's hours here anymore.

well i had my first good insult session recently with someone called dixonmassey.

here's my favorite exerpt so far from myself:

I recognize a lot of those in the "Philo" forum are not actual philosophers. I am not one. Most of the time, the point of my replies is to question the logic and basic assumptions of one's arguments. I am not really out there to "make a point." Is there a law that I must? Should I care? What ism's and books should I read to make you happy?
