Acai Berry Juice

Acai berry is getting on the same scheme as mangosteen juice. Both are "antioxidant-rich" advertisement hooks.

My uncle sells this product too. He won't stop raving about it. I have 3 bottles in my fridge. I don't know, it just does not look appealing so I have yet to try it.

I'm getting hungry just reading about all of that tropical fruit.

I think the next big hit should be durian juice.

This is no different than the search of Ponce de Leon. People have been looking for a simple approach with a single source of all good. It it isn't some tropical fruit its the pizza and chocolate eclair diet.

I suggest the moderation diet:

Everything in moderation including moderation itself.

To be fair, there is some solid science behind 'superfoods' like acai and mangosteen. Fresh and raw is much better than expensive juices, but either way you'd surprised how such things can perk you up.

If you want something better, cheaper, and more available, try raw whole cacao beans. Mmmmmm

Dammit! I thought he thread title was Halle Berry Juice...just when I thought this was going to be the best SciForums post ever!

I've eaten fresh mangosteens, rambutans, durians, dukus, star fruit, ... whatever. What is so super about some of these?

It supposedly has more anti oxidants than any other fruit.
In the end it's just a fruit, though. It doesn't perform miracles.
