No, I don't think so in a real sense. When my niece grew up there was a little twinge of wanting it all back again, but that's not the same thing. Kids grow up, and that's a damned shame!! Kids should remain at about 4-8 years old. ...LOL!

Oh I agree with you there. If I could freeze my 8 yr old now, I would. He is still in that OFFERING to help, Sharing, Loving, still Very Cute Stage. In our house they have labeled him the "Golden Boy" because apparently he can do no wrong with me.

The 13 yr old is a different story. He is a good kid but getting him to do stuff is a struggle. He wouldn't willinging share a chocolate bar if his life depended on it. He wasn't like that when he was younger. In fact whenever I go grocery shopping all the best stuff just disappears. By the time he is 16 he will be eating us out of house and home. The good thing is he is strong, so he will come in handy for hard labour,
